Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo means ” the fifth day of May” in Mexican Spanish. It is a holiday that is celebrated in the town of Puebla, Mexico. It is also celebrated in the United States. The date marks a victory the Mexican Army won over the French in Puebla. The French were expected to win but the won that day. Cinco de Mayo is a more popular holiday in the U.S. than in mexico.
