Kite Testing!

Our class set out to fly our kites. The skies were clear and the wind seemed good for flying. We were excited to test our designs! Our flight area was an open field with no power lines, so we should be safe. We readied our stopwatch and notebooks while  Ms. Rossi set up the camera. Jess and Amina were the first to step up to the take off position. They launched their kites into the air! Things looked promising at first, but then, the dowel snapped, dropping the kite back to the ground.
